Also considered as natural by these definition, are stimulants like caffeine and even the banned drug ephedra, and some illegal drugs like Cocaine and Opium.

All natural is a term used to describe herbal supplements, and the Food and Drug Administration considers them as food products and not drugs. Therefore, they are regulated differently than over-the-counter drugs, but fall under the command of the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Food and Safety and Applied Nutrition.
