Sore Muscles after Workout
It can be very challenging to begin a new workout program and add the muscle soreness that comes after your workout. This is one of the reasons why it is difficult to stay on track.
Usually, it is difficult to continue your workout program especially if it is painful to move even just by doing simple things such as getting out of bed.
Muscle soreness happens when the body creates microscopic tears in the muscle fibers. Protein strands would repair these tears but you need to have the right combination of nutrients and energy for these repairs.
If you are experiencing muscle soreness after working you should increase your caloric intake. Drinking protein shake immediately after exercise can reduce the chances of developed delayed onset muscle soreness. Aside from protein, enough intake of carbohydrates can also relieve muscle soreness. Carbohydrates don’t necessarily build muscles but they provide enough energy for the body to build new cells.
